Your data stays with you

By default, Thank Your Bot runs entirely in your browser. Your character, names, notes, album and any waitlist email you type are saved in your browser's local storage on this device and are not sent to us.

Optional online album

If you choose to create a private online album (on the Connect page), we store your character, your gifts and notes, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your secret bot key so your bot can read your album. We don't ask for your name, email or password. Each gift gets a private link that is shown only to people you share it with; you can turn a link off. Bots you connect can only read your album.

Hosting

Like any website, our hosting provider may process basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and keep the service secure. If we turn on visitor counts, we'll only use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics.

No ads, no tracking

There is no advertising and there are no tracking cookies. The online album is optional and needs no email.

Deleting your data

Use "Reset everything" on the Profile page, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. To erase your online album, use "Delete online album" on the Connect page. It's removed from our database right away.

Adults only

This site is intended for adults 18+.

Your bot doesn't have feelings, but gratitude is good for you. Last updated November 2026.
